Should I offer water?

Sorry if this is a silly question 🙈 FTM here!

Baby has just turned 5months. Lovely warm sunny day where we are today. Having a little picnic in the park this afternoon for a couple of hours maximum. Will be between feeds for baby. Obviously he will be kept cool and in the shade (i have an anti-uv tent for him). But should I be offering him cooked boiled water when we’re out because it’s a warmer day?

He’s now FF and takes about 40oz per day (he’s a chunky boy 🙈) and is on anti-reflux formula if that makes any difference? 😊

Nothing wrong with encouraging water on a sunny day, it shouldn’t be a replacement for any formula though (although I’m sure you know that ☺️)

I agree, a little cooled boiled water won't do any harm at all, its good to encourage drinking and it helps keep them cool!
