DS is 6 months and is now confident at sitting up... the only problem is that if he decides to have a poo when he is sitting upright it seems to defy the laws of gravity and head upwards... normally out of the top of his nappy... we've had 2 ruined baby gros already this week.... any suggestions?

We use {whispers} pampers btw... I know reuseable might help but I really couldnt..

(They aren't links to anything btw so don't get excited clicking...)

nappyzone · 10/11/2007 21:28

I have used both disposables and real nappies and I still find DD has shit on her neck!

I think DD just does really big poos!ss

nappyzone · 10/11/2007 21:37

we found this in washables only when my ds was in his door bouncer -it seemed his mission to see how far up his back he could get it. Dont you just love little people !

whomovedmychocolate · 10/11/2007 21:38

Oh god yes Nappyzone - I remember telling DH off for giving DD 'chocolate' while in her door bouncer because I walked into the room and saw she'd 'dropped it' and was dancing it into the carpet.....only it wasn't chocolate.

We still have a rug down to cover that bit of the carpet

nappyzone · 10/11/2007 21:47

urghhhhhhh nice! WMMC i have just noseyed at your profile - i want your house - but without the pests oh and kinda moved up north but i want it anyway its loooooovely .

whomovedmychocolate · 10/11/2007 21:51

Oh don't be jealous, it's hugely messy and has such low ceilings everyone who lives here has permanent concussion. It's got 4ft 2 headroom at one end of the house

The pests are mostly okay at this time of year. Even the bats are quiet when it's cold. But thanks!

DynamiteDaisy · 10/11/2007 21:57

I generally use real nappies, but used sposies for the first six weeks and we always had this with pampers.

the elastic across the back of sposies does keep it all in you know!

but if sun bleaching gets poo stains out of real nappies, surely this will work for clothes as well?

nappyzone · 10/11/2007 21:58

BATS!!! i have a thing for thatched roofs but think i would rather stick with my tiled one if it comes with guests!!!! 4 ft 2 lol! Imagine the fun your dd will have running to that end away from you and then watching you come to an abrupt halt ! awww sounds very fun!

whomovedmychocolate · 10/11/2007 22:02

Hmm.....DD has already worked out she can get under the table and we can't!!!! She chases the cat under there at least once a day.

Bats are okay actually. They make a bit of a racket when they return. They click and beep like an old Atari computer! But they are better than mice and they do keep the mice away (though we've not worked out why). The cat makes up for this by bringing us several each morning (his record so far is 14 in one day).

Oh and you can't fart here without planning permission, listed building consent, conservation area consent etc. etc. I had to apply for retrospective permission for my ficking catflap!!!!s

DynamiteDaisy · 10/11/2007 22:05

wwmc, I've had to peek at your pics too now.....I'm sure I've got a jigsaw in the loft that has a pic of your house on the front....'tis gorgeous.

I love the photos of your DD with her spaghetti!

whomovedmychocolate · 10/11/2007 22:16

Wouldn't surprise me Daisy, every year japanese tourists come and take photos of the house.

Also the house is slightly famous. There was a riot here 200 years ago on the lawn. There are also dead people buried in the front garden (which I only found out when I dug it eek!)

I have a mousemat with my house on, someone sent it to me because they found it in a gift shop 60 miles away and couldn't believe it!

DynamiteDaisy · 10/11/2007 22:34

lol....but slightly spooky!

nappyzone · 11/11/2007 10:17

and dont even know what you found when digging!

whomovedmychocolate · 11/11/2007 16:22

Actually it was a femur. I though 'fucking hell, the dog who used to live here was ambitious.' and carried on digging, till I found a skull. Then I called the police. Who luckily spoke to the council before they dug up my entire garden. (Shame for me though I was putting in new beds.

Tell you what though, the roses are lovely with all the calcium and bone in the soil!

nappyzone · 11/11/2007 19:28

oh you see i would have moved as soon as i found a bone - have you not sen poltergeist!

geordiemacminx · 14/11/2007 22:09
