Is there anything you did with number 1 that you didn't do with your other children like maybe rules my 2 year old has never had a Mac Donald's or any takeaway etc she doesn't get sweets and very little chocolate now and again! She doesn't even eat biscuits etc. But it's more when I do decide I do want to treat her when she's a little older and get her a Mac Donald's etc her sibling would still be under the age she was aloud have you gave in and aloud the younger one to have food that you maybe didn't give your first at that age? Also when did you give your kids there first Mac Donald's everyone thinks it's cruel she hasn't had one or anything and that am to strict with her food?

I remember when DD was about a year old carefully doling out one plain rice cake per child at a playdate, and the next time a friend who a) is more chilled out and b) has an older one basically chucked a bag of snacks at the three of them and left them to sort themselves out Grin.

I’ve loosened up a bit as my daughter has gotten older, and I imagine that subsequent DC will see the benefit Wink of that in increased telly, treat food etc. Partly also it’s seeing friends with kids doing things differently and the kids coming out absolutely fine and indistinguishable whether they’ve spent three years watching YouTube and eating ham sandwiches or going to forest school and having hand-knitted granola for three meals a day.
