DD is 9 months old now and will only have 2-3 bottles a day (not even full ones). Do I still need to sterilise them?

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

You're supposed to sterilise while you're still giving infant formula due to bacteria in the formula powder

MrsIronfoundersson · 23/03/2021 20:14

I just put them through the dishwasher at that stage (or a good hot wash and air dry if no dishwasher)

Autumn13 · 23/03/2021 20:21

Yeah, I do put them in the dishwasher every wash.

As long as I use formula I sterilise.

The NHS says for at least 12 months.

When I had my first it was a year. When I had my second or third they changed it to 6 months but it's now back to 12 months.
