Suddenly hates her favourite programmes

My 19 month old toddler used to love nursery rhymes and has her favourites ect.
Since two week ago, where she was really unwell with a virus she asks for her favourite nursery rhymes on and then as soon as I put it on she screams and cries and throws a massive tantrum. Then cries for over an hour even though it was the one she wanted! I thought it was typical grumpy behaviours after an illness but she's better low and still behaving like this. I just find it weird for her to ask for her favourite programme then scream and cry for an hour when I put it on for her. I'm worried this virus has damaged her!! She was so different before that

Does she want a particular episode?
Has she had any regression in her language abilities?

@FishWithoutABike yes she asks for a particular one and I put the right one for her yet she screams and cry's and throws a tantrum, she still talks and says all the things she used to before the illness and she can sing and everything but these outbursts are concerning me

Maybe she associates it with becoming ill? How about trying a totally different version and seeing if she likes that?

I don't think it has anything to do with being poorly and she's simply going through a rage stage. My dc used to ask for something and scream when I gave them it. Asked for juice, gave them it - somehow did it the wrong way in their eyes. It's extremely normal toddler frustration.

Er, sounds like a regular toddler to me! We have absolute outrage if I've peeled or not peeled a banana depending on his lordship's exacting but not articulated requirements. 🤦
