Baby rash on face (picture included)

My LO (3 months old) has developed a rash on their neck/cheek. Came up about a week ago and it's just not going away!

I've tried bepanthan which made it worse, and I've since been using sudocreme which has made it less red but it's not clearing up.

Any tips on what I can use? Picture included. Don't really want to go to the doctor yet as it's not bothering him and I think it's just from milk/dribble. Obviously if it doesn't clear soon I will go!

Looks like eczema. I'd try Aveeno or Child's farm baby moisturiser. Nappy creams are quite drying so best avoided unless raw.

@FTEngineerM yep formula fed

I do have eczema myself could potentially be that!

@FTEngineerM formula fed only and it's only on his neck/cheeks at the moment

Yeah as PPs have said I’d put some aveeno on that did a decent job of clearing our DCs eczema. Keep an eye out in case it gets worse over next few months, now is prime time for non ige allergies to appear.

Little one had similar starting at around 2 months. Turns out it was heat rash. As soon as we started putting the temp down and put fewer layers on, it slowly disappeared and never came back.

Did go to develop eczema later though (after 6 months).

I understand not wanting to go to the gp but might be worth giving them a call? I think most of them now are asking to email them pictures in advance so you might not even need to go in :)

Thanks all I will give aveeno a try and email the GP if it hasn't improved in a few days 😊

Unfortunately I had very bad eczema as a child and still have it now so it could well be that!

Just to update went to docs and it's eczema. Got a cream and it's starting to heal up nicely!
