Gift for an 18month old sibling?

Taking a friend a little something for her newborn, and I'd like to also take a gift for the older sibling. They are only 18mo so probably wont care either way Grin but it's an unsettling time nevertheless.

I'd like something that doesn't require parental input / has loads of parts etc, and he can, hopefully just grab and play with. Maybe up to 15-20 pounds?

Any suggestions?

A pull-along puppy. My DS loved his and took it everywhere with him. There’s one in John Lewis within your budget. Also popular at that age were his hammer bench and wooden click clack track.
My 2yo nephew is obsessed by the The Tomy Toomies Pic n Pop toy at the moment.

I'd just say a new book or a colouring book & crayons - my eldest got so many new toys when the youngest was born it was like Christmas.

Pull along dog is perfect!

I was going to say sticker books or one one the books with a pen that gets water in it (water magic I think it’s called) and it can be reused to “paint” the pages.
Or an aqua doodle mat.
