Another baby after a DVT

Hi just wanted to talk to anyone whos had a dvt and gone on to have more baby's.
I have 3 children and my last pregnancy I developed a large DVT and 2 clots in my lungs around 34 wks pregnant. I was on blood thinning injections for a few months. I had lots of blood test and all are clear so the clotting was down to pregnancy so specialist said I would be high risk of getting another in pregnancy and would need to go on blood thinning injections all the way through.
We are talking about having another baby but I am a bit anxious of getting another clot. Just wanted to see if anyone else had been through this and if ur pregnancy went ok on blood thinners ?

I've got a blood clotting disorder so I've been on blood thinners since I was 18. When I got pregnant at 31, I was put on two blood thinning injections a day. I didn't develop any clots.
If you're on blood thinners for the entirety of your pregnancy you should be fine this time.
Probably best to speak to someone though before you try for another.

To add I've had a PE and two DVTs in my life. One of which was serious and I couldn't walk for a few weeks.

I had a perfectly healthy pregnancy and birth.

Thank you for your reply. Yes my specialist said that if we have another I would need to let them know and go on blood thinners the minute I find out I'm pregnant.
I think I've just worried myself with google and ppl saying they still got clots despite being on blood thinners.
I'm sorry to u have had blood clots its terryfying isn't it.
