Development around 11/12 months

Good lord. My previously happy, laid back baby has turned into a tantrumming mess. He'll be happy, but the next second will be a screeching banshee. I dont really give much stock to wonder weeks, but I checked it and my son has just entered leap 8. Does anyone else have an 11/12 month old thats suddenly turned into a shrieking monster? Do they go back to their normal selves after this phase/leap has finished? Please save my sanity! At least my cat is nice.

Shes 2.5 now but I remember this phase well and thinking 'thank god I'm going back to work soon!!' X it's a phase and it passes I promise x

Yip, it is a phase but it does come and go for the next few months. Speaking as a mum of an 18m old whos doing the same again (but not quite as bad) in leap 10. There were some lovely times in between and you do genuinely see so much development at these stages Shock
