Pumping. Is this normal? Will it improve?

Baby is 1 week old. I pump 4/5 times a day but I only get half an oz per boob so having to supplement with formula and it hardly feels worth it anymore. Will it increase in quantity if I continue? Any suggestions?

Hi @supernova89

My little one was in SCBU for the first 10 days and fed via a NG tube so I had to pump to enable her to get my breast milk. I was given the following recommended times from the NHS...

7am
9am
11am
3pm
7pm
9pm
11pm
3am

So 8 times a day and for between 15-20 mins each time.
