Footless sleepsuits

Please help - what am I missing. I have three children and I’ve never once dressed them in a footless sleepsuit. As babies at bedtime they go to sleep in a vest with a sleepsuit over the top and then in a gro bag. Surely in a footless sleepsuit they wouldn’t be as cosy and warm?

Anyway it wouldn’t bother me except I’ve been looking for some nice sleepsuits for my littlest and I keep discounting ones because they don’t have feet. But there are so many like this it makes me think there must be some kind of trick I’m missing? When should they be used?

They were great for my son as he’s tall. He would grow out of sleepsuits with feet so quickly but then the next size up would be massive and he would trip over the bunched up feet, so yeah I love them.

My 9mo is really tall and slim, so they save me having to go up a size (which would be very baggy).

We also don’t dress him til after he’s been up for a couple of hours and had his breakfast etc, and it’s better for walking for their feet to be bare.
