2 year old won’t sleep unless held!

Help help help. She’s currently screaming the house down because we won’t cuddle her to sleep. If we do she wakes up when we put her down anyway. She’s been going for 3 hours tonight so far. We’re exhausted, she’s exhausted.

Last night was the same but we let her in our bed at 4 which probably wasn’t a good idea. I was feeding her on and off in that time and to be honest I’m touched out.

What can we do? I don’t want to get into bad habits. It’s been like this for a few days but she just cries and cries unless she’s being held.

My toddler needs to co sleep if she wakes. She likes being rocked but will accept cuddles in our bed so we all sleep. I have started getting her to sleep in her cot at night with the calm app sleep stories for children but I don't see the benefit of middle of the night battles. Check her mouth to. A lot of DDs friends are getting thier final teeth right at the back through

Is this a new thing? If it is, maybe she's just not feeling well, or maybe something else is wrong. I've always just let mine come in my bed. Anything for a sleep but if you really don't want that then try being strict. Lie beside her and if she makes a fuss tell her no. If she screams, leave the room.
