What age did you change your LO from tab do up nappies to pull ups?

What age did you change your LO from tab do up nappies to pull ups? My LO runs away once the nappy is off and it is hard to get the new one on him. Also (for mums of boys!!) when I change a tab do up nappy, I make sure his willy is pointing straight down before I do it up so he doesn't wee out of the leg holes (his legs are thin so this happens a fair bit). Do you bother with this for a pull up? Sorry for the silly questions!! TIA!!

I never used pull ups, think they're mainly a gimmick. Just went from nappies to underwear when toilet training at 2.

mine wear pull ups too as nappy changing such a PITA. DD wears pull ups like pants and uses potty as well.

They don't hold much wee though (use normal nappies at night) and they tend to fall down when wet!

about 16 months, once she would no longer lie down for nappy changes, far easier to use a pull up. she's 18 months now and can pull them up and down herself.

crokky try different nappies if legs too big. pull ups far more expensive than nappies, bit of a rip off really.
