DD suddenly waking lots at night

My 10 month old DD has always been a good sleeper and has slept through the night from about six months. However, for the last three or four nights she’s been struggling, waking up in tears each night about 10-15 minutes after dropping off. When I go in to give her a cuddle, I’ve noticed she seems to have a bit of trapped wind.

Tonight has been particularly disrupted - she’s woken every 15-30 minutes or so since going to bed at 7.30, each time in tears.

I’m at a loss as she’s eating exactly the same foods she’s always had and the same formula - nothing has changed. She doesn’t seem to be teething at the moment either.

Does anyone know what it could be?

Teething, sleep regression or illness.

Thanks for the reply. I don’t think it’s teething or illness, as I’ve seen no other signs of either during the day and she’s generally very happy. Her temperature is normal.

Could the wind be causing it? It just seems strange that she’s suddenly developed this out of nowhere!
