Baby rarely happy

Hi all

For the past few months I just feel like our baby is never happy or if she is only briefly then she just moans and whinges. She's just getting over a cold so she has been very unhappy lots of tears etc which is to be expected.

But the whinging the moaning the crying at bath time has been going on for some time. I get babies teeth and develop etc but I just feel like it's never ending and rarely do we have a day like 'ah that was a nice day I enjoyed being a parent'

Starting to worry that maybe there's something not right with her? Or is this normal and the light at the end of the tunnel is near? Any experiences/advice welcome Thankyou

Sorry didn't say she's 10 months on the 9th March

Can’t help but in the same boat. My baby is 10 months on the 2nd March and is exactly the same. I feel like she’s never happy, she whinges and moans constantly, it’s exhausting. I think they go through quite a lot developmentally at this age so I’ve been putting it down to that and the fact she can’t crawl so she’s frustrated at not being able to get where she wants.

Praying it gets better 😂

I posted a thread on the exact same issue recently! Maybe it’s a thing around this age?

@Vicky1989x nice to know my baby isn't the only one! I started thinking this can't be normal! She's been crawling for a few weeks and I thought that would make her happier tbh!

Altho saying that we had a weirdly good day today that hasn't happened in a good couple of months now! Let's hope they both get through it soon!

@bex85s oh no wayyy haha I guess we have support we are all going through this tough stage together! Seems like it is definitely a thing. I can only hope as some people have said it ends by 1 - then i suppose we have the next stage whatever that may be 😂😂 I just wish they could tell us what's wrong

I’m beginning to think it’s a girl thing! 😂 Glad you had a better day @Emmaaa1990 - let’s hope it continues!
