Horrible runny poo!

My DS is 3 months old and since about a month ago has started producing really runny poos which leak everywhere. Every day I dread his poo times, especially if we're out and about. He's mainly breastfed but also has 2 bottles of formula each day. On most days he has two poos a day. I'm using Pampers Baby Dry which I found to be very good before he started doing these horrible poos.

Does anyone else have the same problem? Is this a phase that will pass? I know it will probably improve once he's on solids but ideally I would like it to happen sooner than that as it's just so messy to clean up, especially when we're out.
