Recommendations for a sling around the house

I have a very clingy 8 month old who cries inconsolably when I leave the room which means I can't get anything done at all. Starting to find it harder the older she's getting. I have one of those long fabric slings but it's such a faff to get on and off. Want something similar I can use around the house while doing cleaning etc and something I can use for a quick run to the shop.

Is ergo baby still a thing? That's what I used with mine, 4 years ago

I’ve had a few slings and the best by far is a hip seat one by iAngel. Much comfier for me and the baby (mines nearly 8 months too). Had it with the first baby too and used it up til about 18 months
