Adoption nightmare

Has anyone else on line had experience of their adopted children finding their birth family on line, and being dragged back in to the world they were meant to be rescued from?

You might find better responses on the adoption board.

How old is the child? What contact have they had so far with their birth family? I don’t have any experience but I imagine it’s hard to tread the line between supporting contact with their birth family if they want it, and keeping them safe from emotional harm.

I would try the adoption board, and hope you and your family are ok.
