I definitely don't recommend. The tyres are rubbish, and one of our wheels actually crumbled. We took it to the tip after 9 months. I was upset as I paid a lot for it and it just fell apart. I wish I had gone for a mama and papas one again like I did when I had dd as they are so well made. The Venicci look great but are not made well at all. It had a clicking sound from the day we bought it and lots of the features just weren't well thought out and annoying to use.

I disagree with the previous poster. I have a venicci travel system. I have a Lanco model. Very hard wearing tyres and I’ve used them on rugged terrain. 15 months in.

I originally ordered a Venicci and then changed my mind after reading reviews about the tyres. I believe they have now stopped using air-filled tyres (the problematic ones) and now only use foam-filled. I went with a Silver Cross in the end but in hindsight wish I'd just stuck with the Venicci and just checked/ensured I was getting a model with foam-filled tyres.

I have one and I absolutely hate it. To be fair I probably hate it more because it was forced upon me. It was a 2nd hand purchase from the out laws that I was led to believe was the brand new silver Cross I had set my heart on and was going to buy myself and told them not to bother as it was so expensive but they insisted. I cried buckets when it turned up in lock down and I couldn't get another pram. It was a hideous dark grey that was worse due to the fading where it had been in the sunlight, it was scratched and scuffed and the tyres were worn and ready for popping. The front wheel fell off the first time I took baby out alone and I didn't realise it had dropped off as I was going up the kerb until my baby almost fell out of the pram (I have since found out this a known fault...wtf!!). I left the fcking thing right there on the roadside and carried my baby home and in glorious testament to the most hideous of baby vehicles it was still there 6 hours later when dp when to see if he could retrieve it and fix it due to fcking covid not giving us the option to go out and get a new pram right now!!! And all the buttons and joints are plastic so they wear and this makes them difficult to fold down and wd40 doesn't work on worn out plastic.
And they are so small in the baby area. The venicci with it's poor quality materials and bad workman ship is not going to stand the test of time at all!!!
Yes I'm bitter, I'll be in my 90s and senile and ill still remember that fcking repulsive thing I had to cart my beautiful baby around in for the first few months of life.
And what's more it still has to sit in my hallway smirking at me like some kind of ugly demented wannabe baby killer because we can't let onto his precious f
cking parents when they come round to stand at the front door 4 times a pissing week for at least an hour with no regard for the heat we are letting escape from the house or how cold baby gets that I have gone and bought the lovely big silver Cross that I wanted all along for fear of hurting their feelings (my baby could have died but let's worry about feelings)... Yet I can cry on the hallway floor and be told to calm down because it's just a pram...
It's not just a pram it's MY BABY'S PRAM!!! Would you be telling a bride on her wedding day to calm down because it's just a dress if she had been forced to wear a ripped and filthy 2nd hand dress she hadn't seen before the wedding and didn't fit her properly... No you fcking wouldn't!!! So don't tell me to calm down over my babys pram... Bstard!!!

WOW that felt good to get that out!!!

Sorry about that, now where were we...
In answer to your question, I don't actually think very much to the venicci at all!

Justriseaboveitkiddo · 23/02/2021 23:43

And the bag thing underneath was so small and the handlebar was either too short or when I put it up higher it took me closer to the pram so I kept kicking the sodding thing. I hated using that thing, I'm just glad we were in lock down and didn't have to use it that much!!!

What I’m gathering here really is old models bad bad, new models good as any other. I don’t know what you mean as small in the baby area as if anything I would say mines is bigger. My carrycot lasted me longer than friends and the buggy seat still seems quite spacious. My under buggy shelf thing is looking a bit tatty, that’s my only gripe. Oh and to previous poster, damage a wheel or a joint or something beyond repair, fake cry that it’s broke and get it out the house.
