What else can I do with my 8 month old?

My DD is 8 months old on Sunday. We usually chill on the sofa with toys and I try teaching her things. For instance she can clap hands, wave when prompted with 'hello and byebye', can say 'baba, mum/mama and dada' etc. We also play with toys on the floor and she has a jumperoo. What else can I do with her? Is this enough for her age?

A sensory box - scarves, one of those silver heat blankets you can get off Amazon like paramedics use, bubbles, toys with lights in, etc , my dd loves this kind of thing

Puppets to play with and so funny voices

Board books

Messy play- we use the highchair tray and do things like spaghetti etc just to feel and play with or a few coco pops and rice crispie are good for pincer grip

Is she crawling or getting around some other way? You could make a crawling obstacle course, over a sofa cushion, through a cardboard box tunnel, etc.

Bubbles were also popular at that age, as were long baths with lots of playtime. My wee one also really enjoyed the online Sing & Sign classes at that age, and standing in our front window waving at people (during the first lockdown). Fortunately virtually everyone who notices a waving baby will wave back.

She's not crawling yet. Unfortunately shows no signs of wanting to either!
