Hi, I was hoping people could offer some suggestions of things to do with my 16 month old that us by too difficult to navigate with a 2 month old who likes to be held most of the time? She loves the park but obviously that is weather permitting and the ones near us have been jam packed recently. I was thinking of getting a sort of playpen and some play doh but I think she would just spend 90% of the time trying to eat it. Not too keen on her panting in the house so was hoping to hold off from that until we can go outside. Starting to get a bit tired of building a tower and shouting out colours at the same set of bricks and she's probably been exposed to a bit too much baby tv!

Reading books. Storytelling, so just telling a fairy tale that you know, out loud, with no book.

Going to the library once open. Going to the supermarket.

Bath time, really long baths.

If you can get a little kitchen helper tower you could let her play with the sink taps and some cups.

Baking together. And housework. Let her help and narrate what you are doing.
