Nipple Confusion.. HELP!

MY DD is 8 weeks old now, and since birth, she has been feeding on BF and FM. The ratio was heavier on BF initially, but now FM is much more. She used to be able to switch from direct latch and bottle feed without any problem. However, these few days she has been struggling, squirming and frustrated when bottled fed. Have tried changing teats, Avent to Pigeon brand, teat size from 1 to 2, but still like that. Later today, I sort of discovered that it could be nipple confusion. Should I latch her on still - but will that aggravate the confusion? I definately need to feed her on FM due to supply and my availability issue. Anyone has solutions to deal with this situation? Many thanks!

You might want to post this on the breast and bottle feeding message board to get a better response.

you could try a cup rather than bottle, avoids nipple confusion as they are so differnet. try and keep her on the boob when you can as many weeks/months you can.The more you can breast feed the easier it gets on the supply front, your body can get used to a mixed routine. Have you spoken to a breast feeding councelor? they may have some usefull info/ideas to help you keep going. NCT ones are on 0870 9908040 open to all not just memebers.
