Am due my 2nd child in May and already have a DS who has just turned 2. Looking for recommendations for children's books to help them get used to having a little baby around. Had a look on Amazon but there are so many!! Any good ones you have used?! Also any tips on how to settle my DS when nee baby arrives? Thanks in advance

Congratulations! We had:

Za-za’s Baby Brother

There’s a House Inside my Mummy

DS showed no interest in his baby sister at all until she could smile and interact with him Grin when DH brought him to see me and baby DD in the hospital he said ‘mmm....can we go to the park now?’ They love each other now though at 6 and 3.

There’s Going To Be A Baby

I DS and I also liked the ZsaZsa book. Some people don’t like it, because it does to mention that sometimes the parents won’t always have time for elder sibling.

There's a personalised one you can get on Wonderbly too
Don't pay full price though, have a Google and there's loads of codes flying about

My LO is a little older at 3, she’s been great with her sister I think because we talked about her in the run up. Eg. When I folded the new clothes it was all very much “these are for baby sister. When baby sister comes would you like her to wear your clothes, so you think she will like pink etc”....then there was a lot of “is baby sister coming” questions.

My sister however has a 2.5yr age gap, she said her son just accepted that his sister was there because he was too young to query the difference. So tbh you may not need to “do” much leg work.
