Alternative to Vertbaudet for skinny boy?

TuckMyWin · 09/02/2021 20:38

My ds6 is skinny. Like, turn sideways and he disappears, skinny. We’ve been reliant on Vertbaudet as pretty much the only place I could get trousers that didn’t look like a clown costume on him, but now, reading the trustpilot reviews, it seems Brexit/Covid has done a proper number on them. Does anyone have any suggestions for alternatives? Ideally not shipping from Europe, so I don’t have to wait weeks for delivery (bloody stupid Brexit Angry)

Really? I shall have to look again, in the past Next stuff has come up large on him.

I’ve got one of those. I’ve always found Gap skinny to be pretty good on him and the least like clown trousers when the waists are cinched in.

Zara and h and m best for my son with a small waist

Mind you he (a tall 9 year old) still occasionally pulls on his size 7 jeans which he can still get on except they stop mid calf....

I believe m&co do slim fit trousers for boys as do pep&co

La Redoute seem to have a similar selection of trousers (and do slim fit styles). Brexit hasn't affected delivery (I recently placed and received an order myself).
