Nurofen is the only thing that semi works for mine I have tried EVERYTHING!! Though if you search fruit teething dummy on Amazon they have been a godsend - you could put banana or berries or even yoghurt or milk and freeze them and they suck on them - really seems to soothe my little girl (briefly!)

Baby toothbrush with anbesol liquid on and let them chew on it. They'll chew where the pain is and it'll numb exactly where it's needed.

Anbesol liquid, not gel.

My dentist advised me against the fruit dummy, due the prolonged level of sugar exposure to their gums and teeth. You can use them with ice or frozen milk.

My wee one favoured a frozen green bean (a couple of minutes out of the freezer, but not many), which I suppose also avoids the sugar issue with fruit. And one bag provides a near-infinite supply.
