Feeling exhausted

Been up since 5:30am with my 14 month old. Feeling so tired!! I never manage to get good sleep. All I want is to sleep 8 hours straight. At night I wake on my own multiple times. And then must wake early w the baby, even though I need more sleep. I also have to homeschool my two older children. I just want to sleep properly so I can function the next day with out feeling completely exhausted. I can barely keep eyes open.

Does anyone else struggle to get quality sleep at night? Anyone solve this problem? I get in lucky my baby now sleeps through the night. But why can’t I?!? Sad

I have exactly the same, I guess it’s just maternal instinct to sleep with one ear open all the time! I fall asleep easily as I’m usually so shattered but wake up multiple times, even when baby hasn’t! She sleeps 6/7-5/6 most nights and I just have to pop in a couple of times if she loses her dummy and those times are usually before my bedtime, so agreed I should feel lucky too she’s a great sleeper. Not sure how I’d cope if she wasn’t Hmm I have taken melatonin sometimes but it does make me groggy the next day. Sorry I don’t have any answers, just my sympathies! Flowers
