Hi all, I was just wondering what everyone’s 8 month old eats in a day and how many bottles they have. I’m getting very worried that I may be under feeding my DD but I have followed every guideline possible. DD has 3 meals a day and 3 bottles varying from 6-8 ounces.

Hiya mine is 8.5 months old and this is what she tends to have in a day:

Bottle 5-7 oz about 6.30am
For breakfast she’ll have a handful of Cheerios or a weetabix or porridge made with any leftover formula at about 7.30am
She’ll have another 5-7 oz bottle at about 10/10.30
At about 1.30/2.00 she’ll have something like
Scrambled egg and toast (small slice no crusts) and some fruit or yoghurt after
Mine doesn’t seem to want a bottle at bedtime after her dinner and bath so I tend to give her another ‘last’ bottle about 4.30 5-7oz
Dinner at about 5.00/5.30 tonight she had pasta bolognaise and broccoli and cauliflower
Bath and bed!

So sounds similar to yours - 3 meals and 3 bottles - she likes her food tho I do sometimes worry the portions are too big but she will let me know firmly when she doesn’t want anymore or if she’ll still hungry so I’m just led by her really

I’m try not to give her too many ‘snacks’ but she’s starting nursery in a few weeks and I think they have snacks there so she may start to want them more. If I do it’s mini rice cakes or yoghurt or a little bread and dairylea, ellas puffs etc
