Baby has awful gas

My baby is 5 weeks old and ever since he was born has had bad wind, but the past few days it's been worse and he's really uncomfortable all the time!

Any tips of how we can help him?

He's formula fed and we use the slow flow teats, we burp him during and after every feed (altho he doesn't often actually burp).

Have you tried infacol or gripe water?

For how long are you trying to burp him? My baby can hold on to burps for 20-30 minutes, so it takes absolutely ages. He is so much more comfortable afterwards, though.

i would make a very small amount of milk and add infacol
