Trike recommendations please?

Looking to buy my 1 year old a trike, one of the ones that will grow with her IYSWIM. There are loads online but I'd love recommendations from other parents please. TIA

I had a smartrike for DS but he's recently switched to a xootz trike. I would definitely recommend a smartrike!

Trikes are awful! They handle like bloody shopping carts. Nearly ran my niece into the road on her one. Steering drove me mad. Swore never to take her out on one and never bought on for my kids. SIL ditched it pretty quickly for the same reason.

I would recommend buying your first one second hand (eg FB marketplace) then seeing if they like it. If / when they show interest you can always upgrade.
