Hi, my little one is coming to the end of a virus, fever for 4 days which has been down since yesterday, sore swollen throat, mottled skin etc. Had her checked over by doctors who confirmed viral infection and to treat with calpol and ibu which I did. Negative for covid.

Since yesterday she has been feeling much better, eating and drinking fine, nappies fine, but she's come out in this rash. It goes away with the glass test and isn't raised, I'm just wondering if I should be concerned? Called the doctor again today who said just to keep an eye on it but it doesn't seem to be fading. She has eczema which I'm used to treating and know it's not that.

Any advice is appreciated thank you

Post viral rash?

Yes I've just been googling and that does seem to be a thing - she's never had it before as this is her first illness thanks to all the lockdowns.

My DD had similar when she had a virus once - it went after a couple of days.
