Rather than paying a 5er plus postage can I just use essential oils from chemist?

I added a couple of drops of EO into each tub of water each day...I think I used lavender and a vitamin e one... didn’t do any harm and the wipes are still going strong 5 years later!

Hiya, do you mean Cheeky Wipes for babies? Sorry if I’ve misunderstood but I wouldn’t add essential oils to anything for use on babies as they need to be mixed with carrier oils & even then, most would be far too potent for use directly on a baby’s skin. If however you just meant can you use essential oils from the chemist rather than expensive ones for your own use then go for it, they just may not be as potent or have such high quality ingredients if you choose a very cheap version but it all depends on how you want to use them (eg oil burner, cleaning etc).

I've used chamomile essential oil from the chemist on mine with no ill effects.

You'd be better off using nothing,or a little bit of coconut oil.

I use Cheeky wipes but just use water. To be honest it’s just like using flannels and water!

Yes, but I also don’t use anything anymore and store them dry. Sometimes I rub them on the soap bar if it’s a particularly stinky episode.

I don’t bother with the oils at all on mine, just use water, I think the oils are just so they can convince you to buy more stuff from them as most people but a set of wipes and then obviously don’t need to buy loads more!

It's really stupid that they come win essential oils , as essential oils do not mix with water! This means that you risk burning your babies skin with them as it's soo concentrated! I would avoid altogether! Essential oils needs to be used with a carrier oil , not put into water, they can be so dangerous!!!

I used the essential oil which came with ours and it burned our newborns skin. Use as little as possible of anything on their skin- warm water is all it needs.
