Why is my baby so rigid?

He is 6 and a half weeks and he’s been really unhappy today. When he’s like this he’s completely rigid and pushes against you constantly with his feet, never stops head butting. It doesn’t seem quite right. What could be the matter?

Could it be wind or constipation? Have you tried cycling his legs to see if it relaxes him?

Could be trapped wind, my DD used to do it. She’d be as stiff as a board, it was awful. She also has reflux, so could be that too?

My little one used to do that. I think it was a combination of wind and reflux.

Wind! Does he arch his back? Could be reflux also, it’s very common in babies
