Hi,

I finally rang the GP this morning and just broke down crying and after explaining everything I've been feeling and going through he diagnosed me with moderate post-natal depression. I've opted for therapy and hope I've made the right decision. Any advice would be greatly appreciated x

I had cbt last year due to post natal depression and it definitely helped; it started off thinking about about what behaviours helped me feel better than moved onto the thoughts side. I’ve continued using the techniques I’ve learnt throughout the year and have definitely felt a lot better over the time

I did it for 7 months and it has helped me a lot. The key is to find the right therapist. I was lucky enough I went private and after a couple of therapists I found the one for me.

It's incredibly hard having a baby. They are so cute but they turn your world upside down overnight and has given you a lot of responsibility.

I find journaling really helped me. It's been 4 years and when I feel things I still journey. I write my feelings down and get to figure out why I am feeling so low and how to get myself out of this.

You're doing great x
