5 month old constipation

My five month old EBF baby hasn't pooed in almost a week and is waking a lot at night, possibly in discomfort.
He hasn't been weaned yet but could I maybe give him a little bit of dilute orange juice to help things along?

Or a piece of orange?

LLLGB and Kelly mom don’t recommend getting concerned until 10-14days. Breast milk is almost a perfect combination of nutrients so not much to come out the other end.

Is his belly hard? Does he squirm in pain when you touch it?

OJ irritates the lining of the intestine so only use it if desperate.

I know this sounds a bit woo, but look up reflexology for baby constipation. My oldest had terrible constipation and my health visitor showed me how to do it. At the worst, your baby gets a nice foot massage, at best he does a nice big poo! It worked a treat for DD!

Thank you both! His belly is still soft. Will look up reflexology!!
