Hiya. I’m just after some information about primary schools in Crowborough. We’re going to be moving to the area soon and have been looking for primary schools for my 5 year old son whose currently in reception. Any advice and information about the primary schools would be greatly appreciated!

I wouldn’t say there are any bad primaries we are very lucky . Aside from where there is space! I’d say the things to consider are if you want a school with a more religious element or not , size and where your house will be, how you are planning to get to school walking or driving ? My daughter is at St Mary’s it is a catholic school although we are not Catholic it does take a real mix. I would not have been concerned had she got into any of the others though.

Thanks so much for your advice Hermie12. That’s good to hear! We’re going to be moving to the south end of Crowborough, not far from Walshes Park. It would be lovely to be able to walk to the school but I’m sure we’ll end up having to drive. As you said, it’s a question of where has space! It’s difficult when trying to find a school place during the academic year.

Ok so you’ll be on the new estate ? I have friends there . Jarvis Brook would be closest , then probably Ashdown which is walkable if your little one is used to walking . Otherwise the car probably . I imagine it’s hard with no school visits too ! Feel free to pm me if you have any questions
