Hi! First time mum here.
My little girl is 10 months old and having has always had Cow & Gate milk, along with a balanced diiet now. I'm just wandering what bottles you move onto next? She's currently using Tommee Tippee bottles 340ml, but I'd like some news one now with bigger teats. Help a mum out! Thanks in advance!

Tbh if the bottle she's using now isn't working for her anymore I'd just switch to a sippy cup as you'll need to stop bottles in a month or two anyway!

I would move her on to cows milk from a sippy cup or cup with a straw from 12 months, and wean off a bottle entirely. Advice from HV/Dentists is not to use bottles after a year.

Definitely start her on a sippy cup, she's not far off needing to be weaned off a bottle anyway. It can take quite some time for her to get to grips with it so perhaps introducing it early will help her get the hang of it.

Thanks! Can you recommend a good sippy cup? She has one from Boots, but she can't drink from it unless I take the valve out and then it spills everywhere. Therefore I've just been avoiding using it.

Munchkin 360 is good! No spills.

MaMaD1990 · 28/01/2021 17:51

Just a standard tomee tippe that u can close or open xx

Apparently the latest advice is that the 360 type cups are somehow bad for their development and straw cups are better. Unfortunately straw cups are an absolute ball ache to keep clean. We use a mixture of the Tommy tippee sippy cups, munchkin 360 (they were what were advised as the best a few years ago) and the munchkin weighted straw cups.

We love the munchkin 360 ones, come completely apart so easy to keep clean, unlike the tommee tippee ones which ended up quite gross. But yeah no point changing bottles when it's pretty much time for a cup already

My daughter couldn't get the hang of sippy cups until she was about 16 months so she had a munchkin 360 before that.
