Teething - help!!

My little 12 month DS has been teething for about 2 weeks - molars are coming and I've noticed a canine has pushed through

He's just so upset, wincing when eating, screaming suddenly from nowhere, not wanting to play, getting so upset

He's also stopped his usual babbling and just gone so so quiet for the past 2 weeks hardly chatting at all - I feel like it's going on for so long and I'm just starting to get worried will he be happy and chatty again :(

I just feel so awful that's there's nothing that really seems to help him - is it normal for teething phases to go on for so long?

Thankyou

I would get a GP appointment to get them checked over. An ear infection can appear to be teething at first.

For the teething ibuprofen and anbesol liquid are the beat pain killers.
