I'm after any words of advice! My DS is 11 nearly 12 weeks old. For the past week or so he constantly cries all day. It is a really constant whiny grizzly cry which eventually gets louder .He cries after food, on his playmat, in his bouncer, he doesn't want to be held/cuddled. I've checked his nappies aren't tight, he's been burped no end. He is sleeping really well at night and has had one long nap and one short nap so far but this cry is really getting to me. It is making me feel like a failure! I just can't figure out what is wrong with him. I'm sat here typing this as he is grizzles away on his playmat. Is this just a phase? Is something wrong?

If it's grumbling and grizzling, I wouldn't worry too much- tune it out. It could be teething pain, or any number of vague discomforts babies have. I swear mine grizzled because they had food moving in the bellies- perfectly normal, but unfamiliar for a baby!

If it's high pitched and intense whining, then I'd be a bit more worried about something being wrong.

Mine cried and cried as though their heart was breaking- still no idea why it was. I checked the nappy, the clothes, the food, the cuddles etc etc. He just cried.
