Really seeing others experience at the moment. My DS2 was 8 weeks last Friday abs despite speaking to the surgery a few times abs being assured that I am on the list have still not heard about he vaccines it check up. I completely understand that covid is having an impact and the vaccines which are now being done at my surgery are a priority but still concerned about him having both his vaccines and check up. My DS1 (2.8) had a 6 week check up followed by vaccines at 8 weeks.

We are booked In for our joint appointment for the 6 week check and 8 week jabs at the beginning of February at our doctors. The letter doesn’t come from the doctors for the jabs but you can chase it up and track it via your Heath visitor. Mine was able to tell me when ours had been sent and even tell me the appointment details before the letter arrived. Could be worth asking her if you can?
Hope you hear something soon .

@m4d0 we were "put on the list" and he's just had them this morning and he's 11 weeks. 🙄 I dont think it matters too much if they have them a few weeks late as long as the gap between the 1st and 2nd lot is 4 weeks.

My baby had hers bang on schedule, the Dr even came in to do her 6 week check and said that some surgeries aren't doing them and she thought it was crazy not too. I've booked my baby in fine for her 8, 12 and 16 week ones. I'd call the Dr's again or ask for a number for the nurse maybe and ask her about it

Hi op,

My son is 6 months now, but he had his 8 weeks at 12 weeks, 12 at 16 and 16 at 20! My surgery kept cancelling on us. I was worried too but he was absolutely fine 🙂

Especially in lockdown as they're not going anywhere to catch anything!! Don't worry!
