I want to get cross but know that's probably not a good idea so what should I do?

DS1 has been trained for 2 months and has never had an issue with pooing on the potty. However, he has poo'd in his pants 3 times in the last 2 days. Probable reasons are a 4 month old DS2, just started pre-school 3 weeks ago or a houseful of visitors over the weekend. Before he went to bed I showed him a Thomas magazine which I told him he could have after doing a poo in his potty tomorrow - is that reasonable?!

Yes IMO My DD went through a similar stage after 3 months of being fully trained ? why but lasted about 2 months - finally cracked it with a star chart and promise of new toy if she got it right for 3 days in a row.
Not had a problem since, so if you can crack it early IMHO do.
good luck

Thanks, I have also thought of a star chart. Good to know you cracked it in the end. V. hard to know what to do though- anyone else?
