When do toddlers stop moving up and down the cot?

Hello all!
When do toddlers stop moving up and down the cot? I always find my 22 month old upside down, with his feet on his pillow and head where his feet should be or his whole body horizontal across the pillow!! I always tuck him in snuggly when I put him to bed, but he doesn't stay apright!! Needless to say, I don't think he is quite ready to transition to a bed just yet! 😊

Following with interest.
How long has your son had a pillow in his cot?

No advice OP but my five year old DD still ends up every which way when I check on her! She doesn't roll out of bed anymore though 👍

DS1 moved around his bed until he was about 6. You can put a bed guard on if you don't want him to fall out.

Ah thanks for replies! Looks like its a case of him learning to stay upright by himself! He has had a pillow for about a month now, and I place it underneath the fitted sheets, in the hope it would teach him to stay upright... to no avail!!!

DC1 went into a bed at about 2.5. He was still wriggling all over the cot in his sleeping bag and I thought we would have a lot of nights as he got himself caught up in the duvet wriggling about but as soon as he was under a duvet in a bed he just stopped.
