Help!

I have a 9 year old and a 7 year old. Trying to home school then at home while working full time. DH is out as he is a key worker.

Has anyone tried a virtual nanny or tutor?

I don't see how that would work tbh - aren't their schools providing online lessons? I don't think logging into a virtual nanny AND virtual school at the same time would work, and i reckon skipping virtual school in favour of a virtual nanny would get you in trouble with the teacher.

How would a virtual nanny work?

I've seen virtual nannies and tutors mentioned on here before.

Do they not virtually sit with the kids and watch them while they are doing their schoolwork and help out when necessary?

The lessons we are getting from school aren't live streamed.

I think that's likely to be a huge waste of money for your ages. Virtual supervision will be fuck all use unless your kids are already supernaturally responsible and engaged with their learning.

Have you considered getting an actual nanny? Will probably cost the same and they can help with cooking and laundry etc whilst the don't need constant supervision?

I am a nanny and I cannot fathom how online supervision would work especially when you don't know the kids
