Not sure this is the right place for this but here goes...

My little girl is 11 1/2 months old and was having one breastfeed in the morning when she woke but wasn’t really taking anything so decided to stop feeding altogether. Since stopping feeding I have started to bleed, even though I am taking progesterone only contraceptive pill. I have been bleeding for over a week now (not heavy and more like spotting as the day goes on) and never used to have periods for this long prior to having my little girl........just wanted to know of your experiences please xx

It does sound as though it could be a period. Did you have any of the usual signs of a period coming on?

JiltedJohnsJulie not really but then I never used to really! I’ve always been one of the lucky ones! X

I'm still bf but a few tubes my DD dropped a feed I bled. The first one was very heavy. It's quite a big hormonal shift to stop bf so it often restarts periods.
