Sore skin just over mouth

Hello! My DS loves to be outside and in the past few days seem to have developed very sore skin above his lip. Attaching a picture.

Any recommendation on what cream to use? He's not yet 2 and can't really tell me if it hurts but want to do something to make it heal quicker.

Have you tried Vaseline OP?

We have the same problem on our ds's cheeks, as we walk the dog a couple times a day so obviously DS comes with.
We have put his rain cover over him, whether it's raining or not to stop the wind and chill of the cold getting to his skin.
We also use child's farm no fragranced moisturiser on his cheeks which really helps.
With the lips I agree with @JiltedJohnsJulie and try Vaseline

@JiltedJohnsJulie @lockdownpregnancy

Thank you! We don't have a dog but he is such an outdoorsy child and absolutely loves being outside. If we didn't live in London and had a forest nursery or something like that close, it would be perfect for him but sensitive skin just like me.

I will try Vaseline & get child's farm for his cheeks. We didn't have this problem in the summer of course and last winter he couldn't walk so we're outside a lot less! Xx
