irresponsible ex

So I let the father of my DC take DD to the beach whilst I was busy with other DC's. DD was only wearing a dress, he didn't think to dress her appropriately for the weather he said he didn't feel cold and assumed DD would be fine. He didn't even bring her coat or shoes. It's not the first time he's done something like this I thought he'd learn from the last times and I'm sick of his irresponsible behavior. We live apart and tried to stay together which didn't work out. What can be done about this if anything.

Sadly ime nothing. My exh allowed my 3+4 to dc down on the rocks while he stayed up on the pier. One dc fell and split above their eye. He took them back the next week end he had them.
Same dc fell through a frozen pond. The best court gave me was an order he had to tell me of any medical emergencies.!!
My barrister correctly told me judges are reckless with other people's dc..
