Hello,

Could this be the 4 month sleep regression, my DS is nearly 15 weeks. He is feeding every hour-2 hours and will not nap. He will feed, close his eyes, drift off...then wide awake within 2 minutes. He has been awake for hours today. I’ve tried all the usual stuff, buggy, taking him to bed, feeding, rocking but nope, he’s wide awake! He’s been like this for a few days but it was 10-20 minute naps, now it’s nothing and he wants a lot of entertaining- mummy is knackered, age needs a minute!!

If anyone has any suggestions i would appreciate them - he’s been up every hour to feed. No idea how I’m going to get through today, especially if he doesn’t nap! 🥱

The car?

MusicalTrifleMonkey · 16/01/2021 07:51

@Timeturnerplease he’s not great in the car sadly! Buggy he usually loves and I managed to get half an hour out of him yesterday. He’s shattered this morning but won’t go off for his nap that he usually has around now!

Hmm
Iminaglasscaseofemotion · 17/01/2021 02:33

Is he upset OP or just Awake?

MusicalTrifleMonkey · 17/01/2021 02:55

@Iminaglasscaseofemotion I don’t know! I can’t tell whether he is awake for a feed or just because of what. I do wait but he’s so noisy in there, grunting and groaning. He does whinge, but I don’t know if it’s actually him wanting to eat...

The grunting etc could be reflux? Has he had anything like that before, or have you tried anything medication for reflux?
Is he very whingey through the day?

MusicalTrifleMonkey · 17/01/2021 04:35

@Iminaglasscaseofemotion yes he’s on omeprazole and he’s he just had a tongue tie cut. I waited this wake up and when he started to sound like her was going to cry, I picked him up earlier and just held him and he went to sleep so maybe he isn’t hungry after all. Poor lamb.
He’s on and off through the day. He is going through a lot at the moment as he’s still got a big ulcer from his tongue tie snip so it’s hard to tell to be honest!

Ah the wee soul. That's probably keeping him up. Hopefully it will pass soon.
