Car seats

Hello

My lo needs a new car seat (next size up). I have no idea about car seats and like going in to shops so I can speak to the shop assistants and get advice. Obviously we are in the middle of a lock down, are there any shops open that sell car seats/have staff that know what they're talking about?

I will just add that this is 'essential' for me as I have to take my lo to nursery in the car as I am a key worker.

I'd give the In Car Safety Centre a call over the phone. They are very knowledgeable about which seats for which cars etc and the provide a better service than in-store on the high street.

How old is your little one? I'd suggest looking for a seat that rear faces as long as possible, but beyond that, I'd take my lead from the ICSC

Swivel car seats are the best! Great for your back as you don't lean over, and it's quicker to strap in as you can see more easily with everything facing you. Well worth the money.
