Siblings scream and shout ALL DAY LONG

I’m coming to realise my two boys cannot stand each other. They literally argue from the second they wake up to the second they go to sleep. There is a 3 year age gap (6 and 3) I have to be there when they ‘play’constantly to break up the arguments and the fighting. If I left them in a room together on their own I dread to think what would happen. If they do ever play nicely it lasts literally one minute and then turns into argument and hitting. They are so well behaved when they are on their own with me but they can’t stand to be around one another. I’m honestly losing my mind with trying to work and homeschool and keep a 3 year old entertained day in day out. I understand it’s a frustrating time but I’m honestly worried they will never have a loving brotherly bond. (Also I get kids fight, but when it’s literally constant it’s enough to drive anyone mad) does anyone else have kids who are like this?

My dc bicker constantly. You have my absolute sympathy. No one can imagine how draining and exhausting it is if they haven't experienced it.

It feels like torture to me some days it really does. Love them so much but I’m losing my rag. I literally count down the minutes til they’re in bed at half 7 haha

Mine argue A LOT. However they do have periods of time when they get on too and play nicely together....thought they always seem to end with an argument.

For my kids I think their personalities and needs just clash. My daughter is very touchy feel and extremely loud (like even her speaking voice is loud). Where as my son doesn’t like being touched and doesn’t like loud noises, so they set each other off.

I try to focus on the times they do play nicely or help each other. As often when I think they e argued all day they actually haven’t and there have been some periods where they’ve been kind or helped each other.

I think it’s similar here too, my eldest is very loud, confident and energetic whereas my youngest is quite shy and doesn’t like being touched, he’s a lot quieter than my eldest. I hope they just grow out of it. I don’t know if it’s the age gap too. Just hoping they grow out of it!

Can you start to encourage them to sometimes do different things in different rooms rather than keeping them always together? If their personalities grate it might be better for all of you.
