1 yr old DD2 drinking but fewer wet nappies?

Hi

For example she had her 6oz bottle on waking, but then had a dry nappy for 5 hours (checked at 10am). She had water with her breakfast and when I changed it again at 1pm it was wet but not saturated as I’d expect it to be after a full bottle and water.

Anything or nothing?

Thanks x

Possibly her bladder is getting bigger and stronger so she can hold on to the wee for longer? I'm sure she will have a very wet nappy soon.

Yeah that’s a good point

Keep an eye for the next 24 hours, call the HV if no very wet ones. Keep offering lots of fluids.

How is she in herself? If you pinch the back of her hand, does the skin stay up?

Yes she’s fine and yes to skin. She’s not dehydrated I’m sure. It’s jut unusual for her, know when you just notice something different?! X
