Is this normal :(

Although smaller than when I was pregnant I still look pregnant 11 weeks PP

I wasn't expecting a bump (which still feels hard when I'm upright) at this point and feel quite down about it. As a FTM I don't know what is normal

I had a csection and due to other issues not breastfeeding

Try not to feel down, it does take much longer with a C section.
I wore a belly band and walked everywhere, but it’s not very warm at the moment! Need to give yourself time, eat healthily, drink lots of water and walking. Your still healing, they cut through several layers and you have hundreds of stitches. I probably took a good six months to a year to get my shape back and feel normal!

Yes it’s normal! It takes longer than social media would have you think!
With my first baby it took me around a year to get my shape back, currently 4 months postpartum with my second and I still have a rounded tummy! I have separated stomach muscles so am doing gentle exercises to heal them and walking a lot (look up diastasis recti there are lots of videos on YouTube to check for it and exercises to help heal the muscles).
One of my friends always says 9 months on 9 months off! Smile

Have you had your postpartum check? Had mine at 8 weeks I think. They have a good feel to check things are shrinking back as they should be.

My c section bump was definitely slower to go than my bump from DD1, which sort of made sense to me in terms of contractions/hormones etc.

Was normal for me and I didn't even have a C-section!

Forgot to say I didn’t have a c section with either DC

9 months coming, 9 months going. It’s entirely normal.

Go easy on yourself OP, it takes 9 months to grow a baby and it's 9 whole months of your body stretching and changing. Don't put yourself down because you haven't bounced back, your body has been through a lot and it takes time x
